repeat the sounding joy,

A journey to the otherside. We took the Hovercraft across to the Isle of Wight for the day. So gorgeous. The novelty of the Hovercraft made the whole day in itself. Not to mention the ice-skating and the lunch in Christmas-ville.

You say yes, I say no. You say stop and I say go, go, go
Oh, no. You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello

there is a tree as old as me.

Some say happiness is only real when shared. I've found that happiness can only truly be achieved when you're on your own. Finding your way around the world on your own can give you feelings of grief and success. Learning a new form of independence you never thought possible. Discovering deeper meanings behind all of your wonders. Finding comfort in loneliness. Being your true self.

Some say happiness is only real when shared. I say find the happiness on your own and share it with everyone.

well I just see the sky.

A walk along side a castle, through the woods, down a field, beside a river, to a quaint English Pub, back to a coffee shop in town. An evening in Arundel, the perfect description of an English Town. So quaint. So wonderful.

So.. basically.. I started reading Harry Potter.. I have no idea why I've never read these amazing books.
I wonder how many I can finish in a week or in a month, it's been three days and I'm almost done the first.
Seriously, so good.

Did I ever mention?

On June the twenty-seventh I attended a live Sir Paul McCartney concert in Hyde Park, London. The most amazing three and a half hour performance of my life. I couldn't wipe the smile or tears off of my face the whole night. He's one talented major. Knows how to make you laugh, cry, dance, smile, you name it, he's got it covered. He is genius. It is my dream to sit down with him in his living room, chatting about life and her majesty the queen, all with a nice cup of tea. One day.

Also, if you haven't already seen this, it is well worth a peak.

And I want all the world to see.

The Netherlands, Paris, The South of France, and All of England. Where I intend on living these next three years. :)

Ode to the Boots.

Just over a week ago, my trip around Northern Europe ended. And packing for an actual flight came. If you know me at all, you know I left home with a full bag. Not to mention a huge full bag. And of course when you're traveling around for over three months you're bound to buy a few things here and there.. well I am at least. So comes the time to fit it all into one bag. I made a rule to myself while packing, to throw away anything that was damaged. Grey Pants, two rips, gone. Black leggings, various rips, gone. Brown boots, the love of my life, probably worn everyday since being here, bent out of shape from water damage (jumping in puddles), worn right down, like walking on cardboard. Gone. It's almost as if a part of me left when I left those boots behind. I'm not even joking. That was the hardest thing I've ever had to let go of. They were the best. It's a good thing (or is it..) I had a plane to hop on hours later. No going back for them. Ode to the boots. You will be greatly missed.

a tasteless life.

Approximately two weeks ago sickness attached its lovely self to my body. It came in steps let me tell you. "The Sickness Steps to Death" as it became entitled. I literally should have written a book about them. On and off sore throat at the end of Paris through to Bruges. Than full on bodily flu pains in Amsterdam. Waking up every morning with one more thing. You may think, what the heck more is possible. But believe me there are so many more possibilities in the "sickness Steps to death" world than you may know. Coughing, sore throat, fever sweats, ear aches, ear plugs, nausea etc. etc. For this vary reason, Amsterdam wasn't as wonderful as it could have been. Don't get me wrong. Probably my favourite stop on the whole trip thus far, which is weird since I was so ill. But anything could be better, there not be illness involved. And no vocals involved. Meaning, my voice was gone for over three days. Hot lemon water was my only saviour. Other than that, medicine and sleep did not help at all. The said "steps to death" were seriously killing me. All the way to Berlin, I had not healed. And today other than runny nose, slight cough attacks, and a plugged ear (which has been plugged for three days now..) I am doing fantastic. And this is fantastic in comparison to a few countries ago. Not being able to hear out of an ear is problematic but not being able to taste anything eaten is much worse. Texture just doesn't fulfil taste. Thus I will deal with my ear as long as I have my taste buds back. Amsterdamage.

But I still crave that sound.

Monday's, aren't they so wonderful? Well if you like what you do, like your job, like your studies, like your life's choices, than Monday's are good days. They are the beginning of a new week, full of all new and exciting adventures. That is why I love Monday's. Tuesday's aren't so bad either. Although everyone seems to leave on Tuesday's..

I arrived back in London earlier today. Brighton, my past destination, was fantastic! A stay right on the beach, beside the 'Brighton Pier', art and music flooding the streets, the magical sounds of the waves. Brighton. The only reason I left, other than the fact that I only booked two nights, is because I am going to Paris. My favourite city in the world. Thus far. If it weren't for the fabulous Paris you would catch me sitting on the beach right about now. But needless to say, I am going to Paris tomorrow! And I simply cannot wait.

Boys in Red Pants, Sunny Evenings and Good Tunes. Monday's are nice. Paris, I'll be seeing you.

Hugs are Required.

My favourite evening would be playing a game, monopoly or cards, ya know the classics. Sipping hot coco sitting around a table chatting. Or sitting by a campfire with good tunes to sing along to. Or watching a good movie all cuddled up on the couch, with some great company. I don't need to surround myself with a huge crowd or get all dressed up and go out to have a good night. A night of good cards, good company and good laughs is all I need. Hugs are required.

Now the Weather so Bright and Clear.

From Liverpool I traveled to Ambleside, Lake District. Probably the most gorgeous place I've ever been. Every building and every fence made of stone. It's truly a gorgeous place. The two nights spent along side the lake gave me the chance to catch up with my thoughts, draw, and take some wonderful photographs.

From there I continued down to York. Oh my my what another beautiful place. The beauty in these places is absolutely breathtaking. I found a fantastic Fish and Chip place there in York. Wackers. I was waiting for the right moment to try the fish and chips over here. Wackers proved to be that moment. During this short visit to York I had the chance to enjoy the Castle Museum, Shambles, the River, the Town, and a little cafe by the name of Betty's. The town of York was quaint, peaceful and gorgeous.

My next destination was a whirlwind to get to but I am so glad to be here. Bristol. Took almost a full day to get here due to the train changes, train delays, and train cancellations. Even though I had a one way, no transfer ticket.. Oh well. It was worth the trip. Bristol is absolutely fantastic. From the art to the music to the architecture. There is so much to see here. At the same time no pressure to see it all. The life here appears to be very relaxed and nice. The University is gorgeous. The Suspension Bridge is breathtaking. The towns and cobblestone streets are wonderful. Bristol has brought me great joy. I will be back soon!

Everything I am seeing is a dream becoming reality. It's hard to imagine that just a short while ago everything I see now was only in movies. And that this is what I have been working for, for such a long time. Sometimes you just have to sit back to take it all it.

finding joy in the journey.

"It is incredible to see the different directions all of our lives take. But the beauty of it all is that we are all joined together, by something deep within our hearts that penetrates time and space and we know, that we will all see each other again. There are no such things as goodbyes but see you laters."

Beatle Heaven.

I spent the day through the eyes of The Beatles. I drove down the roads they once drove down, I went to the houses they once lived in, I relived some of their greatest moments. Some even the greatest in history. The Magical Mystery Tour took me to Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, and the former childhood homes of George, John, and Paul. I have come to know so many little details about these gentlemen that I would have never known had I not come to Liverpool.

The first time McCartney and Lennon officially met, other than the occasional stare on the bus to school, was at St. Pauls Church after a grand performance by the young Lennon in the band The Quarrymen. The lyrics to his performance were ever-changing and he only played four of the five strings on his guitar. His mother had been teaching him how to play on the banjo. Thus having no clue what to do with the last string. When McCartney came along and self tuned it for him, he was so impressed. Not only was this Church the official meeting site of the two legends. But months after the hit "Eleanor Rigby" was released, a grave at the church with the name "Eleanor Rigby" carved on it, was discovered in the graveyard behind the church. McCartney claiming it had nothing to do with the song, that they didn't even know about it. An infamous coincidence I was unaware of until this adventure.

I later had the chance to see and hear The Beatles Story, through the voice of Lennon's sister. It was a spectacular museum with such greatness to it.

After the sun came out, fantastic noodles, from China Town Tokyou (I do recommend this place), And a day full of the Beatles and life, I am happy to leave Liverpool with high ambitions of coming back.

A new beginning.

Here is where I begin my life full of adventure.
And I am going to share it with you.

One of my greatest goals in life is to see the world. Experience life in every culture possible. Try living in as many places as I can. Figure out where my soul is meant to rest. Seeing something new every minute of everyday brings this little butterfly joy feeling to my heart. Like when a boy tells you he likes you. Or when you see a rainbow. Or when your favourite song comes on the radio. And you can't help but smile from ear to ear. It may only last three minutes. Or a split second. Or maybe even one week. But it is a feeling like none other.

I started my journey in London. Where I was hit hard by the overwhelming life that I had yet to experience. I found my hostel was not what it appeared to be. There were people everywhere. Trains and buses and tubes going all over the place. No phone or internet connection. Everyone seeming to know exactly what they were doing. Or exactly where they were heading. And me. Sad. Confused. And lost. I had just left everything I'd ever known behind for a life on the road. Little did I know. When you are that miserable. There is absolutely no where to go but up! So I kept on smiling. Everyday, I would wake up. And see the world, which was calling for me to come. I have experienced so much. I've opened up my heart once again. To People. To the World. And to New Beginnings.

London allowed me to such things as.. Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe, tour that Globe. See Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre. Go on a Beatles walk of Soho. Go on a bus tour of the whole city. Trafalger Square. Meet some wonderful people. Experience the May Days Protests in the city. The Tower Bridge. The Tower of London, Castles, Crown Jewels. Abbey Road and Abbey Road Studios. The Beatles Last Rooftop show. Jimi Hendrix's Last show. Sir Paul's current office. The Gorgeous Hyde Park. The London Eye. A Cruise Around the Thames River. A tour of Wimbledon's Tennis Club. Address: Number 1, London. Apsley House. Duke of Wellington. Oxford Street. Climb to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral.

I have come to know London and it's transit are quite friendly if you just ask. The birds are friendly and the squirrels will follow you. I have taken to a life with a single bag. There is no turning back. Until we meet.
